Women of Distinction 2008

We were honoured to photograph this year's recipients of the YWCA's Women of Distinction Awards. All three women were very charismatic (and photogenic, despite telling me otherwise!) and it was a real pleasure to work with them.

Even though I am still technically on my maternity leave, I did a really fun family shoot this saturday with an adorable little 2 year old girl named Alexus. She was really excited to play with the toys and check out the studio, and of course she loved the swing. I look forward to working on these final photos!

This was my first shoot since leaving work back in November, but luckily I have been picking up the camera a lot to document my new little family so I wasn't too rusty. I am glad that Tanya booked this session for me as I missed working and this was an enjoyable way to ease back into the swing of things.

It has been awhile!

With our massively busy summer of 2007 the blog got left on the back burner and I hate to admit....it was completely neglected and forgotten about! With a promising 2008 wedding season ahead I wanted to be sure that it was revived and thriving so we can post all of the great new happenings at Litwin Photography.

Tanya will be attending the WPPI convention in Las Vegas this year as James and I have our new little addition to the family! We all entered some amazing photos to the 16x20 competition as well, so we are all looking forward to the results of that.
