This afternoon I had the chance to shoot a gorgeous family in the river bottom, Willy and Julie and their children Dallas and William.I swear, Dallas and William must be child models because they are naturals in front of the camera!

They have recently moved to Lethbridge from Northern Alberta, and hadn’t had a chance until today to see how beautiful the coulees are. We couldn’t have gone on a better day… it was sunny, warm, and lush down in the park.

Thanks guys, I had fun, and I hope you get to come back soon and have more time to play in the river!

Yesterday Tanya and I met up with Shaun and Anna to do their e-session and after trucking through waist high weeds and a LOT of bugs, we made it to our location! Just as we began to shoot a train came through, so we waited patiently and then resumed after it left, only to have yet another train pop on through just minutes later! What are the odds?!

Despite the trains, the weeds, the mud, the bugs (and a broken shoe) we got some GORGEOUS shots and had fun!

Thanks for putting up with us guys :) I promise we wont drag you through all of that again for your wedding day! It was definitely a shoot I will remember though.

Hope and Tanya

Yesterday I had a great afternoon with Ladell and Candace in the park. We shot their e-session for their upcoming wedding on the 26th and the two are great fun! They were up for anything so we finished the session by running through the fountain…well, THEY ran through the fountain while I stayed dry and warm :)

Thanks guys, see you very soon for the wedding, I look forward to it!

Dustin and Jennifer found us through Brad and Breanne when we shot their wedding back in June. They were celebrating their one year wedding anniversary and wanted to get some photos done to commemorate the special occasion! We had a great time and they even had a little cake! It was awesome, thanks guys for sharing your day with me :)

Today we went on a really fun shoot at the fire station where firefighter and paramedic recruits had to do a mock rescue before passing their course.

The “victims” were EMS students from Lethbridge College, and they did an awesome job! Their make up was a little too believable, and they did a great job acting as both extremely wounded civilians and less injured people in shock, providing the trainees with the variety of people they would encounter in a real life situation.

The only casualties were rubber dummies, so all in all, everything was executed very well! Good job, everyone!
