New Look!

February 24, 2009

If you haven’t noticed already (and how could you NOT??) we have an all new look!! We felt that we needed a new logo and look that reflected our personality a bit better. Our feminine touch but our simple and classy style.

We hope you enjoy the site and new blog, please feel free to leave us a comment!

This morning started out in a bit of a rushed panic but quickly settled into an amazing e-session with Ryan and Kathleen. We had full access to the entire university and we took full advantage of it! The sun was shining and the locations we went to were amazing!

I don’t want to give away too many cool photos yet since the proofs aren’t posted, but we manage to shoot everywhere from the main public areas, to the boiler room and even the roof tops! This couple is SO MUCH FUN and we had a blast. I love that they are SO in love with each other and working with them is so natural and easy. The laughter is ALWAYS genuine when working with these guys and I can’t wait for the wedding, it is going to be fabulous!

Thanks for letting me come out to play today guys :) Enjoy the rest of your valentines day/family day long weekend!

Today was the beautiful winter wedding of Kristi and Dave, it also happens to be Valentines day and love was certainly in the cold, brisk, air!

This couple is amazing and theur family and friends all hung out in our studio this afternoon to do tons of photos, then we dashed out into the snow for a few photos of Kristi and Dave and I am SO glad that they braved the freezing cold for these amazing shots because I am in LOVE with the final photos and hope that they will love them just as much!

Thanks for spending your day with us and allowing us to be a part of yours……all the best to you in your future together!

Hope and James

Jon knew us from back last year when we shot the Lethbridge College Student’s Association photos, he was the president at the time. He has since moved on from college and is back to his roots in acting. He came by for some new headshots with his girlfriend Frankie and we had a great time.

Jon has impeccable control over his facial expressions which made it a fin game for me to play with. Ultimately the goal was to make him laugh without him realizing it, but I have to give credit where credit is due and say that this man can hold a serious face like the best of them!! haha

Thanks for coming in Jon, and all the best in your future acting endeavours :)

James and I went up to Calgary on Feb 12th to check out the so you think you can dance Canadadian tour and WOW!! it was amazing! the talent was unbelievable, and the crowd was SO LOUD!! I have been to quieter rock concerts :) haha. LUCKILY this was the smae day that my brand new camera came in so I got to take the new Canan 5d MKII out for a spin at the show!

We weren’t sitting super close to the stage, and I didn’t bring a large telephoto since I thought I’d have to sneak the camera in, but I am still so impressed with the shots I got anyways with just a regular wide angle lens.

the compression on the photos is horrible to get them on my blog :( But hey, for those of you who didn’t get to go, here are a few shots.
