Girlfriends – March 28th, 2009

Melissa called me up this week and asked if her and her girlfriends could sneak in a session for the weekend since they were all going to be together for Kaella’s award dinner. She was a recipeint of the YWCA Women of Deistinction Award and they were all going to celebrate together and do what girlfirends do best!!

This photo shoot was SO fun! The girls were all so great and the laughter was never ending. We even managed to sneak outdoors to play a bit and it wasn’t even too cold! I shot a LOT of frames with these ladies due to the fact that they are all so beautiful (including little Cloe) and I picked some of my faves for a slideshow. Enjoy.

The Gibb Family – March 28th, 2009

I have been looking forward to shooting this family for quite a long time! The hockey season ran nice and long with playoffs so the session was delayed a few times, but today I finally had the pleaseure of working with the Gibb family :) Mom and dad hadn’t had any photos of just the two of them done since their wedding so we took some extra time to take some photos of just them at the end of the session and i LOVE how they turned out!

The kids are 10 months, 4 and 7 years old and they were seriously SO well behaved and so cooperative, they are welcome to come back ANY day to play!! Thanks so much for your fun spirits and laughter guys, it was awesome to meet and work with you!

Busy week – Gift Registry Now available

I have had a very busy week with consults and appointments, no photo shoots until Saturday, but then I have three in one afternoon! I just wanted to let you know that we have gotten the gift registry going once again and you can now purchase gift certificates right online! Tim & Aja – Slade model.management Shoot

March 23, 2009

Today I got to spend a snowy, blowy day indoors shooting two fantastic models, Tim and Aja. Now you may recognize these two, Tim has done photos in the past with me, and Aja was the winner of the Lethbridge Top Model contest for the Womens category! I had a ton of fun making these guys do all sorts of gorgeous photos and I have to tell you, everytime I pushed the button on my camera, a gorgeous shot appeared on the lcd screen fractions of a second later! haha, it must be hard being so great looking hey guys?

Well I LOVE LOVE LOVE working with these two, both as individuals and together, they are so natural and even though they don’t know each other that well, the chemistry just works! Thanks for being so open and willing to let me shoot you today, I realize that it wasn’t the most private of sessions but I am so glad that we got to shoot when and where we did because the results are even better than I could have hoped for!

Carmen & Casey’s e-session – March 21st, 2009

Carmen and Casey are getting married in September and we decided to get their e-session done yesterday. Let me tell you, we couldn’t have chsen a better day to do it! The sun was toasty warm, there wasn’t a breath of wind, and it was just plain beautiful outside. I loved all of their photos and had a really hard time proofing out the final images for their gallery!

Carmen and Casey are a great looking couple with really fun personalities, so I knew that shooting them would be a blast right from the start. Thanks for spending some of your weekend with me, it was fun!. I am looking forward to the wedding!
