Yesterday I shot Mike and Jenn’s wedding and all I can say is WOW! What a gorgeous group of people! I was so excited to look at the shots so I went through them ALL this morning and pulled out the final proofs. We had so much fun, despite the raging wind, and I could have shot these two and their family and friends all night. Everyone was fun, happy and willing to do pretty much anything, so days like yesterday sure keep me LOVING my job!

Thanks for everything guys, your wedding was gorgeous, you guys looked stunning. Congrats and have an awesome time in Hawaii!

Matt was another U of L student that convocated this week and we got to do his shoot on Friday. He graduated with a degree in Philosophy after already completing a Computer Science degree earlier, and now he is off to do his Masters in Ontario! Congrats Matt :)

Thanks for coming in and spending some time with me, and best of luck in all of your future endeavors, you’ll do awesome!

I am a few days behind on my blogging due to an incredibly busy weekend! Back on Thursday, Michelle and her family came in to get some photos done. Michelle just convocated from the U of L with an education degree! It is always exciting to me to do photos of new grads because the passion and light in them is extraordinary, and they always are SO happy to finally be done school knowing all their hard work paid off in the end.

Michelle’s family also includes two big labs named Amy and Chester and these dogs were awesome. Amy had me laughing every time I squeaked my toy because her head would tilt so far he looked like a big owl.

Congrats on your convocation Michelle, your family is lovely and it was a pleasure working with all of you :)

I had the pleasure of heading out in the gorgeous weather to do a session for Jami and her parents. She graduated this year and wanted some fun photos to celebrate! This girl is gorgeous and her dress was stunning (not to mention the shoes!) I hope we can get her and her girlfriends together after grad again to go out and play some more in those dresses!!

Thanks for taking the time out to shoot a bit, I hope your night was awesome and CONGRATS!!

Today Ashley and Jeremy came out with me to enjoy the rediculously beautiful long weekend weather and we shot their e-session. Jeremy isn’t a huge fan of having his photo taken, but after realizing quickly that my methods aren’t so torturous, he relaxed and his real smile came shining through. We had a bit of a combo photoshoot-nature walk so we had a lot of time to chat. This couple is so fun and I am totally looking forward to shooting their wedding in August :)

See you guys again soon!
