Today we had the pleasure of shooting two wonderful people, Dean and Amanda. These two are so amazing and so in love and we loved having the opportunity to shoot in Sherwoord Park, Edmonton and out in Josephburg. It is so fun and fresh to get to a new city and play with all it has to offer!

Dean is a fireman, which I personally think is one of the COOLEST professions in the world, and lucky for me, he brought along his Reds and we went out to the firehall and shot on a fire truck! I had a blast and it was certainly a unique session.

Amanda had her shoes custom made for her, they were dyed to an AMAZING pink color and everyone noticed, everywhere we went. They were total attention grabbers, and she was outshining every bride we saw today in our travels to the legislature! She truly was gorgeous :)

The bridal party was so cool and fun, and kind, and really, I don’t think I can say enough about them, I loved them all!! We had so much fun shooting I really didn’t want the day to end! Dinner had to come eventually though, so I let them go on their way but we reunited with them for a wild and crazy reception party later on tonight!

Congrats again guys, we had an awesome day! Stay tuned for the fotoflow movie!

We are up in Edmonton to shoot a wedding tomorrow and we are so excited! we popped out for the night to cruise around town and visit our old stomping grounds. James and I used to live here in Edmonton about 5-6 years ago and it doesn’t seem like much has changed, although, we lived here in the dead of winter so we have actually not seen the city in “summer” mode!

We took a short trip out to the Legislature building to shoot a few shots for fun and WOW is that place gorgeous at night. there is a huge water feature that people can wade in and it was such a beautiful night there were tons of kids playing in the waterfalls and fountains.

Stay tuned for photos from Amanda and Dean’s wedding, in the meantime, here is a shot just for fun from tonight that I shot quickly.

Well it is a short 90 days until we all head out to Jamaica with Todd and Dana to photograph their beach wedding! (not like we are counting!) We are all so excited for this opportunity and with a couple this fun and great looking, I am in heaven.

These two are so great to work with and sexy as anything. We shot their e-session this afternoon at the old studio and the old neighborhood, it was a perfect session to leave there with as these two are so special and cool as a couple. I am going to make a slide show for this post but it will not be posted until tomorrow so stay tuned! In the meantime, here is a little sneak peek at what is on it’s way :)

Thanks for meeting up guys, I am so pumped about having these done for your website, it is going to rock!

Today I had an awesome 2 hour session with April, her husband Brian and their GORGEOUS Hemi Orange Dodge Challenger. This shoot was done to celebrate Brian and April’s anniversary and I loved every minute of it. These two let me be as creative and odd as I needed to be in my process to make some amazing photos for them. Luckily it was a Sunday and the city is all but shut down on days like today, we had tons of privacy for the most part and still got to shoot in some fun locations.

I absolutely love it when a strong, beautiful woman like April can model for me because her strength and confidence radiate through the session and really allow me to think outside the box and not have to worry so much about the “poses”. Brian also made a wicked assistant, forever grabbing new shoes and buffing out the finger prints (and thumbprints lol) off of the car.

Thanks a lot for an amazing afternoon guys, I had so much fun and can’t wait to get to the editing of this session, the photos look awesome from what I have seen so far!

Well the day finally arrived that we had all been waiting for! Ryan and Kathleen had a gorgeous day for their wedding yesterday and we mixed it up a bit by doing their photos BEFORE the ceremony! We had a beautiful reveal session that started in the morning after these two got all gussied up and the day stared off with a bang.

Let me be the first to say that this couple is amazing. They are cute, fun, carefree, and seriously in love <3 The passion that ignites these two is what makes them so special and unique, and it is certainly what is going to keep them madly in love forever! The day went on beautifully and ended with a killer fun party after the reception. A cool new trend in wedding receptions is a photo booth type setup for the guests and Kathleen and Ryan asked if we could give one a go! Let me say, I think it was a HUGE success, the guests loved it and they had so much fun controlling the whole thing by themselves. They seemed to really let go and have fun with their creative sides!! Ryan and Kathleen are going to have so many wonderful memories for years to come so thanks to all that contributed :)

We shot a Fotoflow for this wedding, but it will not be posted with this blog, watch for it to come soon!! In the meantime, here is a sneak peek at some photos.
