After shooting Lance and Diana’s wedding on Saturday the family headed out to the coulees to shoot some photos of the lighting of the high level bridge for the Shadow of The Bridge Centennial Party. It was pretty neat to see the bridge in a new light (pardon the pun) and it was even a bit windy and cool out so the mosquitoes stayed away!

James did quite a bit of shooting, but I got a few shots in myself and thought I’d post one here! In full size, the detail is quite cool!!

Enjoy,

The labor day long weekend brought the beautiful wedding of Lance and Diana! I was really looking forward to shooting this because these guys are so darn fun and it couldn’t have gone any better! We spent most of the day outside hanging out in the fresh air, and these two were totally in their element. The weather was gorgeous, we even got a few drops of rain to help keep us cool!

At the end of the day, I came back to the Galt to shoot some sunset photos, the sky had completely cloudes up by this point so they weren’t going to go down as we had planned, instead, I got some amazing cloud shots and am so excited that the “sunset” turned out so darn cool!!

Having a Wednesday wedding is bit usual in these parts, but I have to say that I like doing the weekday weddings because the beautiful park spaces are relatively quiet! Jonathan and Heather chose a gorgeous day for their wedding, the sun was scorching hot, there was a nice light breeze, the flowers are in full bloom everywhere we went, and love was in the air!

Jonathan has a huge family, and it was a huge undertaking to get the family photos, done, luckily Sarah was along to help me and we got it all done before anyone melted!
The slide show is coming, but in the meantime, here is a little sneak peek at a few shots from the day!
