My little cousin Taylor Is graduating from Athabasca University and while I was up in Calgary, we took some time to hang out with the family and shoot some photos! I don’t get to see my family enough, since we all live all over the place and have fairly hectic lives, so this was a great opportunity. I have never really shot photos for family before, so it was fun to be able to just relax and use some of my more embarrassing techniques and sounds to get the dogs’ attention. haha

It was great seeing you all together again and a HUGE congrats to Taylor on all your hard work!! We wish you luck and love up north in your new job :D

Let me start this blog with a HUGE congrats to Kristi and Dave on the birth of their little guy Adam. I have known Kristi and Dave for just over a year now.  We met them when we shot their gorgeous winter wedding last year and we have since done their maternity session and now they have their beautiful baby boy Adam.

I headed out to their beautiful home on Calgary this weekend to finally meet Adam. He is 7 weeks old now and is growing like a little weed. This guy gave me a smile before I was barely in the door so I knew it was going to be a fantastic morning. He held back on the smiles though once the camera came out and eventually realized that it was indeed funner to smile and turned on the charm once again.

I seriously could have hung out with this little family all day. Kristi and Dave are always so hospitable and Adam was a perfect gentleman (with the exception of the poop he left for daddy in his hockey helmet!) haha. Thanks for letting me come into your home yet again. I loved meeting your little man, and I can’t wait to see him grow and change.

Last year on February 14th we had the pleasure of doing a beautiful valentines wedding for Kristi and Dave. This year we reunited for the valentines weekend and did some more amazing photos with them, this time it was for their maternity shots!! Kristi and Dave are expecting their first baby in March so I drove up to Calgary to help them celebrate!

Kristi is stunning as usual, and honestly, she makes pregnant look AMAZING. Dave and I were in awe at how stunning she looked and we did both a more tradition session as well as a more romantic boudoir session. I am only going to share a few photos from this day but let me tell you that it was really difficult to narrow down just a few favorites. I HAD to include a shot of Kristi’s shirt that has an ultrasound silk screened on it. The baby has a thumbs up and I thought it was the cutest maternity shirt I have ever seen!!

Thanks for letting me shoot in your home, I had an amazing time and I know you’ll love your photos as much as I do :)

Byron and Amy FINALLY got married!! haha, these two have been engaged for a long time and together even way longer. You may recall their e-session from last summer, and after we shot that I was really excited for the wedding to come as they are such fun people and such a blast to be around! We traveled to Calgary to shoot this wedding and the city was bustling! There was a Weekend to end breast cancer run, a folk festival, and some gorgeous weather. We cruised around town in what must be the largest limo bus I have ever seen, and had a blast shooting all over the city with their super fun bridal party.

The slide show is on it’s way, as well as a very awesome new Litwin Photography Exclusive Product that I will be unveiling shortly…but in the meantime, here is a sneak peak at some of my favorites from the day.

Thanks for everything guys, I had a blast and was sad to see the day end :) All our best!
