Today I got to spend a snowy, blowy day indoors shooting two fantastic models, Tim and Aja. Now you may recognize these two, Tim has done photos in the past with me, and Aja was the winner of the Lethbridge Top Model contest for the Womens category! I had a ton of fun making these guys do all sorts of  gorgeous photos and I have to tell you, everytime I pushed the button on my camera, a gorgeous shot appeared on the lcd screen fractions of a second later! haha, it must be hard being so great looking hey guys?

Well I LOVE LOVE LOVE working with these two, both as individuals and together, they are so natural and even though they don’t know each other that well, the chemistry just works! Thanks for being so open and willing to let me shoot you today, I realize that it wasn’t the most private of sessions but I am so glad that we got to shoot when and where we did because the results are even better than I could have hoped for!

Thanks guys for the great work.

James and I went up to Calgary on Feb 12th to check out the so you think you can dance Canadadian tour and WOW!! it was amazing! the talent was unbelievable, and the crowd was SO LOUD!! I have been to quieter rock concerts :) haha. LUCKILY this was the smae day that my brand new camera came in so I got to take the new Canan 5d MKII out for a spin at the show!

We weren’t sitting super close to the stage, and I didn’t bring a large telephoto since I thought I’d have to sneak the camera in, but I am still so impressed with the shots I got anyways with just a regular wide angle lens.

the compression on the photos is horrible to get them on my blog :( But hey, for those of you who didn’t get to go, here are a few shots.

We had the pleasure of dressing up to shoot the 100th Anniversary of the 18th Air Defence Regiment at the Lethbridge College. The event was a full military dinner with special guests in attendance including the Lt. Governor of Alberta, Norman Kwong.

The event was gorgeous, complete with old photos, great food, gorgeous dresses and over 100 men and women in uniform. It was a great way to spend a Saturday evening and the guests looked really happy to be there too!

We had so much fun at last year’s convention that we just had to go again! We were only able to attend on Friday this year, and even though attendance was still slow since it wasn’t quite the weekend, we still had a great time and met some really cool people, including the one and only Lizardman.

This also was Jaxen’s first tattoo convention, so we had to go all out! If you saw a few posts ago, I’m working on turning him into a pirate, so we couldn’t resist baby’s first tattoo going a little Sailor Jerry (don’t worry, it’s only temporary :P ).

Check out our slideshow from the convention:

If you haven’t already read on our main website….

Litwin Photography has jumped on board to help the crew at b-93 raise $5000 for the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Chinook Regional Hospital. The money will go towards 2 parents rooms in the NICU. For many parents the hospital is a second home. We want to make-over the rooms…so parents can relax, when so much else is going on. Once they reach their goal..Bobcat has agreed to getting inked..yes he’ll get a tattoo during the morning show!! We will be donating framed prints and stretched art canvasses to decorate the rooms and Here is how YOU can help:

Call us at the studio at 380-4786 to book a baby photo session and we will donate 50% of all proceeds to the NICU at the chinook regional hospital!

We have an awesome portrait art wall package that includes a 10 x 20 Panoramic Stretched Canvas and two 10 x 10 Framed Prints, We will even come to your home and hang the work for no charge! This package is valued at over $1000 but for this very special fundraiser we are offering all of this for just $599. (that means $300 goes straight to the NICU!)
