Jeddy & Windy got Engaged! IN VEGAS!! – Litwin Photography – Lethbridge Destination Photographer

So this was the best e-session ever! Windy had no clue that there was a proposal coming her way, and thought we were just headed out to red rock canyon for a nice portrait session. Jeddy and her got all dolled up, we hopped into the nissan xterra and rolled out of LasVegas and into the desert.

We drove around for a bit, stopped at several times to take random photos, and unbeknownst to Windy, scouted the perfect location. :) Red rock is a loop drive, so after we found our spot and were sure that there were no better ones, we convinced Windy to do the loop one more time under the story that I wanted to go climb the huge red rocked area to take some more scenic photos. Thankfully she was down for more adventure, but was wondering what was up with Jeddy. She thought he was upset because he was being so quiet (nervous). If anyone knows Jeddy, they know he is NEVER quiet :) haha

So after a lot of driving, and a little climbing, we headed up onto this amazing hoodoo type cliff overhang and started shooting a few photos. He got her to look WAY up the cliff at the climbers that were up there and he snuck in behind her and dropped to one knee. He then said, “hey, look at this!” and she turned around! This is where i got melty and teary, but kept shooting, all the while trying to keep Windy from stepping backwards off the edge of the cliff. haha.

We followed that day up with a sunset tour of the strip in a helicopter! AMAZING DAY with amazing friends. Congrats guys.

Dave and Krista came down from Calgary to shoot their e-session with me and they picked a great day! The coulees are a gorgeous mix of fall colors, the weather was (surprisingly) warm, and aside from massive amounts of construction altering our plans, everything went swimmingly!

Again, I was too excited to wait to edit and proof these out so they are all ready to go. Here is the sneak peak! I can’t wait for the wedding next year, it is going to be amazing.

Levis & Reilly’s e-session – Litwin photography – Lethbridge wedding photographer

Today I started my day off in the GORGEOUS backyard of Levis and Reilly. These two have done so much work to turn their yard into a tranquil sanctuary and it was amazing!

This was the perfect place to do their engagement photos and the weather was in full cooperation mode for us. I can’t wait for the wedding in beautiful Canmore, but in the meantime, here is a sneak peek at today’s session (including a shot of their little buddy Jack)

The long weekend weather was SUPPOSED to be nasty, but we kept our session booking just in case we could luck out and luck out we did! The rain (and snow) stayed away and aside from a dark cloudy sky and a bit of a chilly wind, it was actually kind of nice out!! Krista and Roland are such a sweet couple and they really love each other so much, I was constantly catching them looking at each other with that “look”. You know, the one that says “i’m so happy” and the laughter is non stop with these two.

I had such a fun time shooting this session because these two are just so darn sweet to each other, and it never hurts when an e-session involves a lot of cuddling and nuzzling :D

Thanks for taking time out of your long weekend and being flexible with your schedule, I’m so glad that we made it happen and that it went so awesome. Here’s a sneek peek at some of my favorite shots.

Nathan & Amanda’s e-session – Litwin Photography Lethbridge Wedding Photographer

This past weekend was our first little taste of spring/summer and I spent a gorgeous sunny hour on Saturday afternoon with Nathan and Amanda. This couple is so adorable and I have had the pleasure of working with Amanda, her friends, and her family in the past.

I am so excited for this wedding in September only because these two are so sweetly in love and the smiles and funny “couple” moments these two share have me constantly grinning and laughing right along with them. They are so perfect together and it makes me all mushy and melty inside :)
