My little cousin Taylor Is graduating from Athabasca University and while I was up in Calgary, we took some time to hang out with the family and shoot some photos! I don’t get to see my family enough, since we all live all over the place and have fairly hectic lives, so this was a great opportunity. I have never really shot photos for family before, so it was fun to be able to just relax and use some of my more embarrassing techniques and sounds to get the dogs’ attention. haha

It was great seeing you all together again and a HUGE congrats to Taylor on all your hard work!! We wish you luck and love up north in your new job :D

Love Hope (and James + Jaxen)

On Friday afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing one of my favourite families once again. The Mazerolle’s have been a part of the Litwin family from the day we met them and I love these guys to death, we have become great friends over the past 2 years and although I no longer do family portraits for people, when they asked if I could do them, I just couldn’t say no :)

It was a crazy windy day so our plans to get out to the park to play were scrapped we headed indoors to the most scenic location I know. This building has beautiful lines and light so I knew it would be a great place to stay warm and out of the wind.

Thanks for hanging out and letting me take some photos. It was a pleasure as always :)

Today we braved the brisk wind and headed out in the snow to shoot a photo session with Lindsey and Ryan and their beautiful Husky Tucker. He was a ball of energy and never once let the cold get to him! He loved the snow and although Lindsey and Ryan weren’t too thrilled about freezing their buns off while trying to get Tucker to pay attention, Lindsey’s mom Diane and I enjoyed his antics!

These will make great Christmas photos I think! Thanks for coming out today guys, I had fun :)

Grady is here!! You may recognize his mom, dad and big brother Gavin, they have been coming to Litwin photography since Kareena and Jeff first got engaged way back in the day! It is so sweet to watch our clients’ families grown and these guys are no exception. Grady is a sweet little guy who never got upset once during our session, he was totally relaxed and up for anything, I remember his big brother being the same way too when he was born. I love baby legs and feet so I HAD to take the first shot, soooo cute!

You guys all look great, best of luck with the move and getting all settled in, your family is awesome!

Heather, Mike and their two children came to play with me at the park the other day for some family photos. The session started out awesome then the freezing cold wind whipped up out of nowhere and the two little ones weren’t too happy! I have to say though, they toughed it out amazingly and we got tons of cute shots :) Thanks for the shoot guys, I had fun!
