I am a few days behind on my blogging due to an incredibly busy weekend! Back on Thursday, Michelle and her family came in to get some photos done. Michelle just convocated from the U of L with an education degree! It is always exciting to me to do photos of new grads because the passion and light in them is extraordinary, and they always are SO happy to finally be done school knowing all their hard work paid off in the end.

Michelle’s family also includes two big labs named Amy and Chester and these dogs were awesome. Amy had me laughing every time I squeaked my toy because her head would tilt so far he looked like a big owl.

Congrats on your convocation Michelle, your family is lovely and it was a pleasure working with all of you :)

I had the pleasure of heading out in the gorgeous weather to do a session for Jami and her parents. She graduated this year and wanted some fun photos to celebrate! This girl is gorgeous and her dress was stunning (not to mention the shoes!) I hope we can get her and her girlfriends together after grad again to go out and play some more in those dresses!!

Thanks for taking the time out to shoot a bit, I hope your night was awesome and CONGRATS!!

We did Mellissa and Curtis’ e-session a few weeks back, but they wanted some pictures with their dog Tucker, so we met up again on this GORGEOUS, cunny and even a bit hot Sunday to have some fun with Tucker! He is an awesome chocolate lab that totally reminds me of my old big black lab Miko. Not only was he fun, but he’s also quite the little character! He has a mohawk on top of his head and his tongue is like a foot long, he also has no hesitation when it comes to sticks, and he was carrying around these giant logs, ever so proud of his finds!

Here are some photos of Tucker and I threw one in of the humans too since they tagged along for our session ;) haha.

Well little Izzy B is now 11 days old and she came into the studio to visit and to do her first studio session. This little lady sure is a sweetie and she was so alert and happy! I love her big eyes and all her hair, and I am pretty sure that if Kevin and Jeannette need a babysitter, I will be more than happy to volunteer :O)

Here are more photos of Izzy and her gorgeous locks, as well as a new slide show!

Thanks for coming in to play, you are welcome to come and visit any time.

The snow let up for me just long enough to sneak out to the train bridge in Indian Battle Park with this awesome family. Sue and Bill have three great “kids”, and althought the boys didn’t feel that into family photo day, we managed to get some smiles out of them and it turns out that it wasn’t half as painful as they probably thought it was going to be! :)

Sue and Bill haven’t had any professional photos together since they were married 25 years ago, so after the family photos were done, mom and dad stuck around, changed into some comfy blue jeans, and we had some fun capturing just the two of them. I have to say, I love seeing couples still in love after 25 years, it is so sweet and they were so great in letting me drag them through some muddy terrain to get the shots we wanted to get. Bill is a train enthusiast so the bridge is right up his alley, and you can see one of his model trains featured in the Chinook country tourist association guide book for 2009 that we shot!

Thanks for coming out guys, it was fun and I’m glad the sun even poked out from behind the clouds out for a bit!
