Cheeky Monkey Showdown – Lethbridge’s Cutest Kid Contest

So you may be seeing the following ad around town and on social networks like facebook and twitter! What’s it all about you ask?cheekymonkey_showdown

Well…..We decided that we just can’t get enough cute kids in our lives, so we are having a contest that is going to find Lethbridge’s CUTEST kid!!

Here are the rules and how it will work:
1. Become a fan of litwin photographic arts on facebook and submit a photo of your baby, toddler or child up to the age of 6 to our facebook fan page and post your photo to our wall with a message saying “cheeky monkey showdown”
2. Your photos must be recent (taken within the last 3 months)
3. Only one photo per child may be entered.
4. You must have permission to enter your photo into this contest (no professional photos without permission from the photographer *IN WRITING*)
5. Once the contest deadline is met (March 1st, 2010) no more submissions will be accepted. Photos will then be posted to our blog for voting! Voting will be open for 7 days and only one vote per unique IP address will count.
6. Once the voting closes our top 6 finalists will receive a FREE photo session with Litwin Photography and those photos will go back online for the final round of voting!
7. The final 6 photos will be posted for 7 days and once again, voting will be open to the public.
8. When the winner is determined (by the photo with the most votes) they will be announced and notified!

Prizes will include free photo sessions, photo products, and other cool swag from local and online businesses.

Curtis & Krista’s Wedding – July 11th, 2009

We traveled out to the west coast to shoot the wedding of Curtis and Krista. The island was beautiful, the weather was gorgeous, the bride and groom are two of the coolest people ever, and I LOVED every minute of this trip! Krista and I went to High School together in Calgary and haven’t seen each other in over 12 years, so it was so amazing to see her again and to meet her amazing husband and beautiful daughter Zanika.

Thank you so much for having me at your wedding guys, I loved catching up with you and I am truly honored to have been a part of your special day.

Lethbridge Fashion Week – May 1st, 2009

I LOVE shooting Lethbridge Fashion Week fashion shows!! These are the best :) The runway was hot, the models were even hotter and the fashions were exceptional (as usual). Candice – Fitness Shoot – April 30th, 2009

Candice came in for a fitness shoot so she could capture all of her hard work in photographs to have forever. She has been training her butt off for the PACE Fitness competition in Calgary but due to sickness could not compete. This woman is amazing to shoot and work with though, she was so natural and comfortable in front of the camera, and I would hire her to model for a photo campaign ANY day!

Her body was rocking, her poses were amazing and natural, and she kicked this session’s behind! Thanks for making my job so darn fun and easy Candice, I’d love to do more in the future :)

Lethbridge College Fashion Show – April 25th, 2009

The Lethbridge College Fashion design and marketing program put on their big fashion show event this past Saturday and Some of the Slade Models were participating so I went down to shoot. The lighting was not your typical high fashion runway lighting, but instead had a lot of spots all over the place which lit up the entire room a bit too much, but all in all the models were awesome, the fashions were amazing and I had some fun!

There were a few other photographers also shooting so they had their “lighting” set up in random places around the stage, it was all a bit odd for me to see any strobe use at a fashion show as this really isn’t typical (but I suppose boys don’t watch much FTV) :) I worked around them and their indulgence and manged to get some fun stuff, here are some of my faves from the night! There are so many great shots I had to narrow it down to just a few for here, perhaps a slide show will be in the near future.
