This is a few days behind schedule and I apologize, i have been feeling a bit under the weather this week!!

Jessica and Jared are definitely one of the most laid back, fun couples we have had the pleasure of working with and some of the photos make me laugh out loud every time I see them, even after the tenth time! I have really loved working with these two with both their e-session  and wedding. They are truly the sweetest, most caring people and even on their wedding day were more concerned with the happiness of their friends and family just as much as their own.

We went off to the park at the end of the day and had some fun and I could honestly post an entire blog just of playground photos, but I will refrain and post just a few of my favorites. Enjoy the sneak peek, your password to the gallery is coming right away!

Thanks again for being such an awesome couple, all the best to the both of you in your new lives together.

I love Friday weddings! There are no other brides in and around your shooting locations, everyone is happy to have a day off work and the parties always seem a little more amped. :)

Landon (Lance) and Courtney took advantage of a first look session before their gorgeous evening wedding ceremony and these two were gorgeous! They were both a bundle of nerves but once they saw each other it all washed away and they were nothing but smiles and laughter.

The weather was HOT, the wind was a welcome thing when it came and the photos turned out amazing. I am so excited to go through them all and post the gallery for them. In the meantime, here is a little sneak peek :)

Thanks again for everything!

Yesterday James and I spent our Saturday kicking of our official 2010 wedding season with Andrea and Matt :) These two are gorgeous beyond words and so in love that they just glow every time they look at each other.

We did a first-look session so we met up in the morning and shot photos all over town in the glorious sunshine and humidity (and mosquitoes) and then headed out to Taber for their ceremony at the church.

I was floored at the beauty and green-ness of many of the locations we went to because this time of the year usually means the brown, dead, and dirty starts creeping in, we completely lucked out and even got up onto the roof of the fire hall (thanks to the help of my buddy Dave from Executive 4 Star Limo who just happened to be in the right place at the right time!!

I do also have to say that Matt and Andrea have the most talented group of friends I have seen! A few of their friends sang for them at the church and one of these folks happened to be a fellow named Matt Currie. I had met him in the past but have never heard his music and let me tell you that he is amazingly talented. He does play live shows around town as far as I know so If you ever get a chance to hear him, please do!

Here is a sneak peek at some of the photos from the day, I had a really hard time narrowing down favorites for the blog.

Thanks for having us join you on your wedding day, it was amazing and we hope you have a great honeymoon!

Breanne and Brad were married back in June of 2008 and she had come to the realization that her wedding dress was dirty and taking up too much space so she messaged me to book a trash the dress session! When she told me what she had in mind I instantly got giddy and excited and I couldn’t wait to get out to shoot this. Brad and Brea LOVE to ride their quads and dirt bikes and Breanne’s parents live on a beautiful acreage  just out of the city where they could ride and have some fun. Knowing that spring is just around the corner and that there is PLENTY of mud out at mom and dad’s we headed out of town with the gassed up toys and went to play.

James and I had so much fin with this session and we have to hand it to Breanne because not only was she brave enough to trash her dress, but the water/mud she was standing in and getting soaked with was FREEZING cold and smelled a bit like “farm” :) It was SO WORTH IT and I could barely narrow down photos to fit on this blog, so here is a sneak peek. Enjoy.

PS- OH! and we must also give a huge shout out to Dar, Breanne’s mom. She was nervous about doing this session but by the end, she was on a quad totally getting in on the action along with Brea’s dad and some other friends!

So I promised a more comprehensive blog with photos from Jamaica, and because there was so many from 5 straight days of shooting, I figured a slideshow would be awesome!

So enjoy.
